Travelodge Natchitoches

It was a fair value for the star rating. I'd stay there again. Some people seem to expect a 5-star hotel for a 1-star price.

This was by far the filthiest place I have ever been to. There were so many roaches we couldn't sleep. The phone didn't work and we got in late and were out by 6 am because we couldn't take the filth. There was a huge roach under the pillow. The carpet had so many stain, the a/c didn't work and the bathroom had hot air coing out of hole in the walls. We actually had to put ice in bags and put those on our bodies. Poor area of town with no conveniences of restaurants or stores. Rooms were filthy and I was placed by the pool which had noise late into the evening beyond the usual hours of operation.

Older hotel, but clean and comfortable. Would stay there again.

Good place to stay and staff was quite helpful.

I should have just forfeited my money and gone to another hotel. Staff was courteous - that's the only positive thing I can say about the experience.

We were extremely disappointed by the hotel as it was not what we expected at all. We had bags of trash outside the door, there were two mattresses up against the wall (outside) and it smelled like sewage. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but reeked of old smoke.
